Anti-NBPF member 3 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein encoded by the NBPF3 gene. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 633 amino acid residues and a mass of 73 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cytoplasm. Alternative splicing is reported to yield 5 different isoforms for this protein. It is reported to be expressed in testis and fetal heart, as well as in non small cell lung carcinoma and neuroblastoma cell line. The NBPF member 3 protein is a member of the NBPF protein family. Other names for this target antigen include neuroblastoma breakpoint family member 3 and protein SHIIIa4.
