Anti-TEX44 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein testis expressed 44. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 395 amino acid residues and a mass of 41.6 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cytoplasm. It is notably expressed in the testis. Synonyms for this target antigen include testis-expressed protein 44 and uncharacterized protein C2orf57. TEX44 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine and chimpanzee species. Immunofluorescence is a widely used application for the TEX44 antibodies listed below. In addition, Immunohistochemistry is also a common application.
