Anti-MLLT3 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein MLLT3 super elongation complex subunit. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 568 amino acid residues and a mass of 63.4 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is notably widely expressed in many tissue types. MLLT3 is known to be involved with hematopoietic stem cell differentiation and the regulation of Wnt signaling pathways. The MLLT3 marker can be used to identify Hematopoietic Stem Cells (HSC).* Synonyms for this target antigen include YEATS3, protein AF-9, ALL1-fused gene from chromosome 9 protein, KMT2A/MLLT3 fusion protein, and AF9. MLLT3 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species.
