Anti-meteorin-like, glial cell differentiation regulator antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target meteorin-like, glial cell differentiation regulator is a known alias name of the protein meteorin like, glial cell differentiation regulator, encoded by the METRNL gene in humans. This 311-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in the differentiation of certain cell types, among other biological processes. The protein is secreted and features post-translational modifications. In terms of tissue expression, it is reported to be highly expressed in the skeletal muscle, in subcutaneous adipose tissue, epididymal white adipose tissue depots and heart.
