Anti-Amylase, alpha 1A antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene AMY1A in humans. The amylase, alpha 1A protein has a reported amino acid length of 511 and an expected mass of 57.8 kDa. The protein may also be known as amylase, alpha 1A (salivary), AMY1, alpha-amylase 1, and 1,4-alpha-D-glucan glucanohydrolase 1. Variants of this antigen may also be found in other species, including rat.
