Anti-C7orf57 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein chromosome 7 open reading frame 57. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 295 amino acid residues and a mass of 32.8 kDa. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is notably expressed in the nasopharynx, fallopian tube, endometrium, caudate, and bronchus. Synonyms for this target antigen include uncharacterized protein C7orf57. C7orf57 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Immunofluorescence is the most common application for the C7orf57 antibodies listed below. Immunocytochemistry and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
