Anti-C12orf40 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein chromosome 12 open reading frame 40. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 652 amino acid residues and a mass of 74.5 kDa. Up to 3 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. Synonyms for this target antigen include epididymis luminal protein 206, epididymis secretory protein Li 94, and uncharacterized protein C12orf40. C12orf40 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, chimpanzee and chicken species. Immunofluorescence is the most common application for the C12orf40 antibodies listed below. Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
