Anti-RAB42 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein RAB42, member RAS oncogene family. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 218 amino acid residues and a mass of 24.1 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the membrane. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is a member of the Rab protein family. Synonyms for this target antigen include RAB42, member RAS homolog family, putative Ras-related protein Rab-42, and ras-related protein Rab-42. RAB42 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, chimpanzee and chicken species. ELISA, Western Blot, Immunocytochemistry, and Immunofluorescence are common applications for RAB42 antibodies.
