Anti-carboxypeptidase B antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The carboxypeptidase B antigen is another term for the human protein carboxypeptidase B1, encoded by the CPB1 gene. The protein is known to function in proteolysis, among other biological roles. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 417 residues and a mass of 47.4 kilodaltons. It is a secreted protein and it is expressed in the pancreas. The carboxypeptidase B protein is a member of the Peptidase M14 protein family. Other alias names for carboxypeptidase B include CPB, PASP, and PCPB. Indicated applications for carboxypeptidase B antibodies listed below include ELISA, Flow Cytometry, Western Blot, Immunofluorescence, Immunoprecipitation, and Immunohistochemistry.
