Anti-HDHD2 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein haloacid dehalogenase like hydrolase domain containing 2. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 259 amino acid residues and a mass of 28.5 kDa. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is notably widely expressed in many tissue types. It is a member of the HAD-like hydrolase protein superfamily. Synonyms for this target antigen include epididymis secretory protein Li 301, epididymis secretory sperm binding protein, and haloacid dehalogenase-like hydrolase domain-containing protein 2. HDHD2 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Western Blot is the most common application for the HDHD2 antibodies listed below. Flow Cytometry and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
