Anti-Cytochrome P450 family 3 subfamily A member 4 antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene CYP3A4 in humans. The gene may also be known as CP33, CP34, CYP3A, CYP3A3, cytochrome P450 3A4, and 1,8-cineole 2-exo-monooxygenase. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 57.3 kilodaltons in mass. The CYP3A4 marker can be used to identify Pericentral Hepatocytes and Mid Zone Hepatocytes.* Based on gene name, canine and monkey orthologs may also be found.
