Anti-MYLK4 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein myosin light chain kinase family member 4. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 388 amino acid residues and a mass of 44.5 kDa. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. A member of the CAMK Ser/Thr protein kinase protein family, MYLK4 is known to be involved with protein phosphorylation. Synonyms for this target antigen include caMLCK like and sugen kinase 85. MYLK4 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, chimpanzee and chicken species. Some MYLK4 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Immunohistochemistry is a widely used application for these antibodies. ELISA and Western Blot are also common applications.
