Anti-LGALSL antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein galectin like. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 172 amino acid residues and a mass of 19 kDa. It is notably widely expressed in many tissue types. Synonyms for this target antigen include HSPC159, galectin-related protein, galectin-like protein, lectin galactoside-binding-like protein, lectin, galactoside binding like, and GRP. LGALSL gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, chimpanzee and chicken species. Some LGALSL antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. These antibodies are most commonly used in Western Blot experiments, among other applications.
