Anti-ATP5PF antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein ATP synthase peripheral stalk subunit F6. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 108 amino acid residues and a mass of 12.6 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the mitochondria. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is notably widely expressed in many tissue types. It is a member of the Eukaryotic ATPase subunit F6 protein family. Synonyms for this target antigen include ATP5 and ATP5A. ATP5PF gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. A number of ATP5PF antibodies have been mentioned in research publications and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
