Anti-DNA damage inducible transcript 4 like antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene DDIT4L in humans. The gene may also be known as REDD2, Rtp801L, DNA damage-inducible transcript 4-like protein, and HIF-1 responsive protein RTP801-like. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 21.7 kilodaltons in mass. Based on gene name, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
