Anti-deltex 1 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target deltex 1 is a known alias name of the protein deltex E3 ubiquitin ligase 1, encoded by the DTX1 gene in humans. This 620-amino acid residue protein is known to function as a ubiquitin ligase protein in vivo, mediating ubiquitination and promoting degradation of MEKK1, suggesting that it may regulate the Notch pathway via some ubiquitin ligase activity (By similarity). It is localized to the nucleus and cytoplasm of the cell and features ubiquitinated post-translational modifications. In terms of tissue expression, it is widely expressed across many tissue types.
