The gene may also be known as ACUG, BLAU, BLAUS, CARD15, nucleotide-binding oligomerization domain-containing protein 2, and NLR family, CARD domain containing 2. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 115.3 kilodaltons in mass. Based on gene name, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
