Anti-PPIL4 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein peptidylprolyl isomerase like 4. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 492 amino acid residues and a mass of 57.2 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus. It is found to be highly expressed in the kidney but has a ubiquitously low expression pattern in other adult tissues. It is a member of the Cyclophilin-type PPIase protein family. Synonyms for this target antigen include PPIase, cyclophilin-like protein PPIL4, cyclophilin-type peptidyl-prolyl cis-trans isomerase, peptidylprolyl isomerase (cyclophilin)-like 4, and peptidyl-prolyl cis-trans isomerase-like 4. PPIL4 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Some PPIL4 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. In addition, ELISA is also a common application.
