Anti-C2orf42 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein chromosome 2 open reading frame 42. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 574 amino acid residues and a mass of 64.1 kDa. It is notably expressed in the kidney and testis. Synonyms for this target antigen include uncharacterized protein C2orf42. C2orf42 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Immunofluorescence is the most common application for the C2orf42 antibodies listed below. Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
