Anti-cytospin B antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the cytospin B antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the SPECC1 gene, which encodes sperm antigen with calponin homology and coiled-coil domains 1. This protein is known to function in cytoskeleton organization, among other biological roles. The human version of cytospin B has a canonical amino acid length of 1068 residues and a protein mass of 118.6 kilodaltons, although 5 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the nucleus of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. This target antigen may also be known as cytospin-B.
