Anti-TNKS1BP1 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein tankyrase 1 binding protein 1. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 1729 amino acid residues and a mass of 181.8 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus and cytoplasm. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is notably expressed in the testis, ovary, lung, skeletal muscle, heart, prostate and pancreas, and at very low levels in the brain and peripheral blood leukocytes. Synonyms for this target antigen include tankyrase 1 binding protein 1, 182kDa, tankyrase 1-binding protein of 182 kDa, testis secretory sperm-binding protein Li 206a, and 182 kDa tankyrase-1-binding protein. TNKS1BP1 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, chimpanzee and chicken species. A number of TNKS1BP1 antibodies have been mentioned in research publications and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. In addition, ELISA is also a common application.
