Anti-TLX1 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein T cell leukemia homeobox 1. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 330 amino acid residues and a mass of 34.4 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. TLX1 is known to be involved with the regulation of transcription. Synonyms for this target antigen include TCL3, T-cell leukemia homeobox protein 1, T-cell leukemia/lymphoma protein 3, homeo box-11 (T-cell leukemia-3 associated breakpoint, homologous to Drosophila Notch), and HOX11. TLX1 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Western Blot is the most common application for the Tlx1 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
