Anti-Centromere Protein B antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene CENPB in humans. The Centromere Protein B protein has a reported amino acid length of 599 and an expected mass of 65.2 kDa. The protein may also be known as major centromere autoantigen B, and CENP-B. Variants of this antigen may also be found in other species, including canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat.
