Anti-ATOH7 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein atonal bHLH transcription factor 7. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 152 amino acid residues and a mass of 16.9 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus. ATOH7 is reported to be a transcription factor that binds to DNA at the consensus sequence 5'-CAG[GC]TG-3'. Synonyms for this target antigen include atonal homolog 7, atonal homolog bHLH transcription factor 7, class A basic helix-loop-helix protein 13, helix-loop-helix protein hATH-5, protein atonal homolog 7, and transcription factor ATOH7.
