Anti-SLC7A6 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein solute carrier family 7 member 6. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 515 amino acid residues and a mass of 56.8 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane. It is reported to be expressed in normal fibroblasts and those from LPI patients. It is a member of the L-type amino acid transporter (LAT) (TC 2.A.3.8) protein family. Synonyms for this target antigen include LAT3, Y+L amino acid transporter 2, amino acid permease, and LAT-2. SLC7A6 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. A number of SLC7A6 antibodies have been mentioned in research publications and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. In addition, ELISA is also a common application.
