Anti-C6orf134 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target C6orf134 is a known alias name of the protein alpha tubulin acetyltransferase 1, encoded by the ATAT1 gene in humans. This 421-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in cilium assembly and cytoskeleton organization, among other biological processes. It is localized to the cytoplasm of the cell and features acetylated post-translational modifications. It is reported to be widely expressed in many tissue types.
