Anti-EHBP1 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein EH domain binding protein 1. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 1231 amino acid residues and a mass of 140 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cytoplasm. Up to 3 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is notably widely expressed in many tissue types. EHBP1 is believed to play a role in actin reorganization. The EHBP1 gene has been associated with the disease, Prostate cancer. Synonyms for this target antigen include NACSIN, NPF calponin-like protein, testis tissue sperm-binding protein Li 50e, and HPC12. EHBP1 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. A number of EHBP1 antibodies have been mentioned in research publications and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. ELISA, Immunocytochemistry, and Immunofluorescence are also common applications.
