Anti-SRGAP3 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein SLIT-ROBO Rho GTPase activating protein 3. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 1099 amino acid residues and a mass of 124.5 kDa. Up to 3 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is reported to be highly expressed in adult and fetal brain. SRGAP3 is a GTPase-activating protein for RAC1 and perhaps Cdc42, but not for RhoA small GTPase. Synonyms for this target antigen include MEGAP, SRGAP2, WRP, WAVE-associated Rac GTPase activating protein, mental disorder-associated GAP, and ARHGAP14. SRGAP3 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Some SRGAP3 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
