Anti-PCDH20 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein protocadherin 20. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 951 amino acid residues and a mass of 104.9 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane. PCDH20 is known to be involved with cell adhesion. Post-translational modifications have been described, including glycosylation. Synonyms for this target antigen include protocadherin 13. PCDH20 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Some Pcdh20 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. ELISA and Flow Cytometry are also common applications.
