Anti-SRP antibodies target Signal Recognition Particle (SRP), a protein-RNA complex that functions in recognizing newly synthesized polypeptide chains. In humans, protein subunits that comprise this complex include SRP9, SRP14, SRP54, SRP72, and the SRP RNA (RN7SL1).
