Anti-ERV1 antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The ERV1 antigen is another term for the human protein growth factor, augmenter of liver regeneration, encoded by the GFER gene. The protein is known to function in the cellular response to lipopolysaccharides and TNF-mediated cellular signaling pathways, among other biological roles. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 205 residues and a mass of 23.4 kilodaltons. Its subcellular localization is in the mitochondria, cytoplasm, and is secreted. It is ubiquitously expressed across many tissue types. Other alias names for ERV1 include ALR and HERV1. Western Blot is the most common application for the ERV1 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
