Anti-CB1A antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The CB1A antigen is another term for the human protein cannabinoid receptor 1, encoded by the CNR1 gene. The protein is known to function in pathways of aging and carbohydrate metabolism and homeostasis, among other biological roles. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 472 residues and a mass of 52.9 kilodaltons. Its subcellular localization is in the mitochondria and cell membrane and it is found to be widely expressed, with highest levels in fetal and adult brain. The CB1A protein is a member of the G-protein coupled receptor 1 protein family. Other alias names for CB1A include CANN6, CB-R, and CB1. Indicated applications for CB1A antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry.
