Anti-SRL antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein sarcalumenin. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 473 amino acid residues and a mass of 54.4 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the membrane. Up to 3 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is notably expressed in the heart muscle and skeletal muscle. It is a member of the Dynamin/Fzo/YdjA protein family. Post-translational modifications have been described, including N-glycosylation. Synonyms for this target antigen include SAR. SRL gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. A number of SRL antibodies have been mentioned in research publications and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. Immunofluorescence and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
