Anti-LRRC23 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein leucine rich repeat containing 23. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 343 amino acid residues and a mass of 39.8 kDa. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is notably expressed in the testis, nasopharynx, fallopian tube, endometrium, and bronchus. Synonyms for this target antigen include leucine-rich repeat-containing protein 23, leucine-rich protein B7, and LRPB7. LRRC23 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, chimpanzee and chicken species.
