Anti-C1orf54 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein chromosome 1 open reading frame 54. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 131 amino acid residues and a mass of 14.9 kDa. It has been described to be a secreted protein. It is notably widely expressed in many tissue types. The C1orf54 marker can be used to identify CD8?+ Thymic Conventional Dendritic Cells.* Synonyms for this target antigen include uncharacterized protein C1orf54. C1orf54 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine and chimpanzee species. Immunofluorescence is the most common application for the C1orf54 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
