Anti-SLC36A3 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein solute carrier family 36 member 3. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 470 amino acid residues and a mass of 51.7 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the membrane. Up to 3 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is notably expressed in the testis. It is a member of the Amino acid/polyamine transporter 2 protein family. Synonyms for this target antigen include proton/amino acid transporter 3, solute carrier family 36 (proton/amino acid symporter), member 3, tramdorin 2, and proton-coupled amino acid transporter 3. SLC36A3 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat and bovine species. Western Blot is the most common application for the SLC36A3 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
