Anti-ANKRD22 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein ankyrin repeat domain 22. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 191 amino acid residues and a mass of 21.8 kDa. It is notably expressed in the esophagus and stomach. Synonyms for this target antigen include ankyrin repeat domain-containing protein 22. ANKRD22 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Immunohistochemistry is the most common application for the ANKRD22 antibodies listed below. Western Blot and Immunofluorescence are also common applications.
