Anti-ZNF177 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein zinc finger protein 177. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 481 amino acid residues and a mass of 54.8 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus. Up to 3 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. A member of the Krueppel C2H2-type zinc-finger protein family, ZNF177 is suspected to be involved in transcriptional regulation. Synonyms for this target antigen include PIGX. These ZNF177 antibodies are widely used in Western Blot experiments, among other applications.
