Anti-Annexin A2 antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene ANXA2 in humans. The Annexin A2 protein has an expected mass of 38.6 kDa, but there are 2 reported isoforms. The protein may also be known as ANX2, ANX2L4, CAL1H, HEL-S-270, annexin II, and annexin-2. Variants of this antigen may also be found in other species, including plant, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat.
