Anti-RAB24 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein RAB24, member RAS oncogene family. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 203 amino acid residues and a mass of 23.1 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cytoplasm. A member of the Rab protein family, RAB24 is suspected to be involved in autophagy-related processes. Synonyms for this target antigen include ras-related protein Rab-24. RAB24 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Some RAB24 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Immunohistochemistry is a widely used application for these antibodies. Western Blot and Immunofluorescence are also common applications.
