Anti-Sez12 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target Sez12 is a known alias name of the protein DiGeorge syndrome critical region gene 2, encoded by the DGCR2 gene in humans. This 550-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in organ morphogenesis and cell adhesion, among other biological processes. It is localized to the membrane of the cell and features glycosylated post-translational modifications. In terms of tissue expression, it is reported to be highly expressed in the brain, heart, lung and fetal kidney. Other synonyms for Sez12 include DGS-C, IDD, and LAN. Indicated applications for Sez12 antibodies listed below include ELISA and Western Blot.
