Anti-OCNCb antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the OCNCb antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the CNGA4 gene, which encodes cyclic nucleotide gated channel subunit alpha 4. This protein is known to function in the sensory perception of smell, among other biological roles. The human version of OCNCb has a canonical amino acid length of 575 residues and a protein mass of 66 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the membrane of cells. Other names for this target antigen include CNCA2, CNG-4, and CNG4.
