Other Apoptosis Antibodies

Apoptosis, or programmed cell death, is a complex cellular process leading to characteristic changes in cell morphology and death. It is highly regulated and involves many protein players. Some notable proteins directly inducing apoptosis include: AIFM1 (induces nuclear fragmentation and cytochrome c release); FADD and TRADD (activate procaspase-8). On the other hand, some negative regulators of apoptosis include: FLIP (inhibits caspase activation); Akt or protein kinase B (inactivates pro-apoptotic BAD); Aven (inhibits Bcl-xL and Apaf-1). There are a myriad of proteins involved in apoptosis, so to search for a particular antibody target of interest, simply enter the name in the search bar.
