Product Name:

Scigen Tissue-Plus™ O.C.T. Compound

Catalog Number:

23-730-571

Our lab studies acute and chronic kidney disorders in rodents and one of our areas of interest is immunohistochemistry staining. We use this compound as the embedding medium to freeze tissue pieces. Tissue-Plus O.C.T. Compound has been used as an embedding medium for frozen tissue specimens to ensure optimal cutting temperature. It is a clear, colorless solution, free of particles, a water-soluble cryostat embedding medium for tissue specimen sectioning and long-term cold storage. Provides convenient specimen matrix for cryostat sectioning at temperatures of -10°C and below.
