Sorvall ST4 Plus Centrifuge Works Well for Spinning Down Cells

This is a great centrifuge that is for spinning samples down. It is also part of the greener by-design concept of Thermo Scientific, which is great for creating a green lab like we are trying to do. This centrifuge is utilized by me when I do membrane protein extractions and cell culturing. This is extremely useful because it can fit the 50ml Falcon tubes, plates, and other sizes instead of the classic 1-2 ml tubes. This allows me to have a large quantity of cells that can be split at one time instead of splitting them up.
