Antibodies are produced by plasma cells (PC) that are terminally differentiated B cells and play crucial roles in host protection against infections but are considered to mediate autoimmunity in patients with rheumatic diseases, such as systemic lupus (SLE) or rheumatoid arthritis (RA). Our research aims at understanding the biology of antibody-secreting cells (ASC) in health and disease, although in this particular experiment, we looking looking for CD4 cells.

On the figure, from left to right, lymphocytes are gate in FCS vs SCC, single cells and then on the right a dot plot in shown in which one can clearly identify CD4 cells, mainly T cells.
It works and is reliable.
The signal could be better.
The antibody works, and can be a useful option to have.
