As a cancer immunology lab, we study exhaustion in T cells within the tumor microenvironment. Ly-108 has recently been identified as a key marker to determine the type of exhaustion during differentiation. Expression of this indicates stem like T cells hence we analyze expression of this marker in our flow cytometry experiments.
