I have used the Human Pro-MMP-13 Quantikine ELISA Kit to assess MMP13 in supernatants from cultured cells. I optimised the ELISA before use, by testing a dilution series of my samples. I then used the remaining ELISA kit to assay all of my samples for MMP13. The ELISA performed well and I was able to detect MMP13 in the majority of my samples, derived from 5X10^5 human articular chondrocytes cultured in varying conditions for 5 days.

The ELISA can be used in strips, which allows for determination of optimal sample dilutions.
The kit is very sensitive and detects MMP13 in pg/ml. I was able to optimise the dilution for all my samples and detect MMP13 in cell culture supernatants from 5x10^5 human articular chondrocytes cultured for 5 days.
