As an immunology lab, we routinely spin conicals and tissue culture plates to centrifuge cells for many applications including flow cytometry. We primarily use this centrifuge as our primary plate-based centrifuge rather than spinning conicals.
Centrifuging plates or conicals
Place the 96-well plate into the holder along with the appropriate balance plate. Slowly close the lid to lock in place. Set your speed and time and hit start. It will stop automatically. Hit "open" to open the lid and remove plate.
Make sure it is balanced otherwise it will shake or stop.
Can handle 3 plates on each side for a total of 6 plates at once.

Wonderful centrifuge for conicals but best for plates! Can handle lots of wear and tear over 8 plus years. Great equipment for the lab!
