Product Name:

Rictor monoclonal Antibody

Catalog Number:

Our lab studies the role of mTOR signaling in macrophage polarization and function. We perturb key signaling molecules within this pathway to study this pathway. We deleted Rictor protein in macrophages to study the role of mTORC2 in macrophage polarization and function. The antibody is easy to use and has great specificity.

Experimental Design and Results Summary

Applications

Western Blot

Sample

Murine macrophages (WT and Rictor KO)

Primary Incubation

1:2000 in 4% BSA/TBST

Blocking Agent

5% Dry milk/TBST

Secondary Incubation

1:5000 anti rabbit HRP

Tertiary Incubation

None

Detection

Invitrogen ECL Pico

Results Summary

We are able to detect Rictor protein in our samples and are able to identify the appropriate band by analyzing it in Rictor KO macrophages since we do observe protein in these cells.
